Your training plan is built and kept in your browser. The site has no accounts and no upload endpoint; analytics counts page views without personal details.
What the site stores
Nothing about you on our servers. The plan generator, the pace calculator and every plan table run as a script in your browser tab. The distance, race date, goal time, run days and experience level you enter are turned into a plan on your device and are not sent to runmarathon.app or to anyone else. There is no account, no sign-up form and no email field.
Three small entries live in your browser's local storage so the page can pick up where you left off:
rm_plan: the inputs of your last plan and the time you built it;rm_done: which workouts you ticked off;rm_units: miles or kilometres.
Clearing site data in your browser removes all three. They are never read by the server.
PDF and calendar export
"Download PDF" opens your browser's print dialog; the calendar file (.ics) is assembled in the tab and saved as a download. Neither export uploads anything.
Analytics
Page views and tool usage (plan built, PDF opened, calendar saved) are measured with Yandex Metrica. It sets its own cookies to tell returning visitors from new ones and may record how a page is used: scrolling, clicks and the settings chosen in the generator. These are training settings, not personal details. We do not run advertising, embedded fonts or social widgets, so no other third party loads on the site.
Server logs
The web server writes a standard access log: IP address, requested page, time and browser string. Logs are kept for 14 days for security and traffic monitoring, then deleted.
Your choices
Block or delete cookies in your browser to opt out of analytics; the generator keeps working. Delete site data to remove the saved plan. Any browser extension that blocks trackers will stop Metrica without affecting the site.
Changes
If the way the site handles data changes, this page is updated and the date below moves. Last updated: 2026-10-24.
